FedRAMP 20x Phase 3

The pilots are over and FedRAMP 20x is here to stay.

FedRAMP 20x is now in Phase 3, with FedRAMP focusing on delivering the final activities necessary to formally establish FedRAMP 20x Certification types for use:

• The FedRAMP Consolidated Rules for 2026 will contain all of the requirements for FedRAMP 20x and will be finalized by the end of FY26 Q3 (June, 2026).
• The actual pipeline for accepting FedRAMP 20x submissions will open in FY26 Q4 (July - September, 2026).
• FedRAMP 20x will be initially available for Class A (Pilot), Class B (Low), and Class C (Moderate) Certifications.
